Frustrated, I closed the tab displaying what was quickly becoming one of my most visited websites: wikiHow’s “The Best Ways to Get Over Stage Fright & Be More Confident.” Though the article’s advice never struck me as anything beyond meaningless platitudes, my high school self still frantically Googled “how to get over stage fright” before every performance.
